Counseling
“Sometimes the bravest and most important thing you can do is just show up.”— Brené Brown
COME AS YOU ARE
There are times in life when something inside whispers—sometimes gently, sometimes urgently—this isn’t working anymore. You may not know exactly what needs to change, only that something is aching to be felt, heard, reclaimed, or released.
Counseling with me is not just about problem-solving or symptom management—though we will tend to those parts, gently and thoroughly. It is a sacred space to pause, breathe, and come home to yourself. Here, your wholeness is welcome—your heartbreak, your longing, your laughter, your messiness, your brilliance. There is no version of you that is unwelcome here.
This is a space for people who are tired of pretending and long to feel real again. A place for the parts of you that have been quieted, doubted, or hidden to be witnessed and honored.

What to Expect
Therapy with me is collaborative, intuitive, and deeply attuned to who you are and where you are in your process. I meet you where you are, and together we explore where you long to go.
Each session is shaped by your needs and capacity in the moment. Some days might be focused and practical; other days we may gently explore emotions or themes arising from deep within. My style is relational, compassionate, and rooted in presence. You can expect curiosity, humor, respect, and the occasional well-timed metaphor or intuitive question to guide us deeper. I work with clients both in-person and through telehealth, offering flexibility while ensuring that we can still create a grounded, meaningful connection.

MY APPROACH
I work integratively, drawing from both traditional evidence-based approaches and more holistic, somatic, experiential and creative methods. This allows me to support you in ways that are both practical and profound.
Modalities I often use include:
-
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
-
Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)
-
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
-
Internal Family Systems (IFS)
-
Motivational Interviewing
-
Somatic and trauma-informed practices
-
Mindfulness and body-based awareness
-
Expressive arts, breathwork, narrative therapy
-
Spiritually integrated exploration (when desired)
Healing, for me, is not just about “talking it out.” It is about embodiment—feeling what has long been frozen, listening to what your body has been trying to tell you, remembering your voice, and discovering who you are beneath the old stories and survival strategies.

Is This Right for You?
I work best with clients who are thoughtful, sensitive, creative, or spiritually curious—even if you don’t quite claim those words for yourself yet.
You might be:
-
Navigating anxiety, depression, or grief
-
Feeling stuck or burned out
-
Carrying shame or trauma from the past
-
Struggling with boundaries or people-pleasing
-
Questioning your identity, purpose, or place in the world
-
Longing for more authenticity, creativity, and connection
You do not have to have it all figured out to begin. You just have to bring yourself.

How to Begin
If something in you is stirring, I invite you to follow that nudge. Healing is not a linear path—but it is one that becomes lighter when you don’t walk it alone.
You can reach out for a free 15-minute consultation to see if we feel like a good fit. Whether you’re returning to therapy or starting for the first time, you are welcome here.
Let’s begin.
Gentle Guidelines for Telehealth
Whether you join me in person or online, this is sacred space.
If you're attending sessions through telehealth, I invite you to create a quiet, nurturing environment for yourself as best you can. I understand life happens—but I ask, gently, that this time be reserved for you.
Whenever possible, please:
-
Find a private space where you feel safe to speak freely.
-
Avoid multitasking (laundry, driving, etc.) during our time.
-
Bring a journal, a blanket, or a cup of tea—whatever helps you feel grounded.
-
Minimize distractions from pets, family, and devices when you’re able. Your nervous system, your healing, and your presence are worth the care it takes to create a space where you can just be.

Counseling Policies & Information
At Silvercrest Healing Sanctuary, I hold space for meaningful, collaborative healing work — with deep respect for your time, energy, and readiness for this journey. Below are the counseling policies designed to support clear communication, access, and mutual care in the therapeutic process.
Rates & Insurance
Counseling services are billed at a standard rate and are not part of the tiered pricing model used for groups and workshops. This is due to insurance billing requirements and the nature of one-on-one clinical care.

Sliding Scale Options
A limited number of sliding scale spots are available for those experiencing financial hardship. If you’re in need of support, please reach out to discuss current availability.
Cancellations & Missed Appointments
When a session is scheduled, that time is held especially for you. Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice prevent others from accessing care and are difficult to fill on short notice. Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice (including no-shows) will incur a $100 fee. Monday appointments must be cancelled by the Friday prior to avoid the late cancellation fee. This policy is in place to maintain consistency, fairness, and the sustainability of the practice.
Emergencies & Crisis Support
Please note that I do not offer 24/7 crisis services. If you are in immediate distress, or facing a mental health emergency, please use one of the following resources:
BH Link (Rhode Island) – (401) 414-5465 – 24/7 behavioral health crisis line
988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline – Call or text 988 from anywhere in the U.S.
In an emergency – Please go to your nearest emergency room or call 911
Communication & Availability
I do my best to return all messages within one business day, typically by the end of the day. Please note that I am not available on weekends, and messages received on Friday afternoons or weekends will be returned the following business day.
If you have any questions about these policies, feel free to reach out. I'm here to support you and will always aim to hold clear, respectful, and compassionate boundaries to make our work together safe and effective.
