Spend a couple of hours on a Saturday afternoon creating alongside good company.
The Making Table is a place to slow down, get creative, and enjoy the simple pleasure of making something with your hands. These gatherings are not about perfect technique or creating something “just right.” They’re about curiosity, experimentation, self-expression, and having fun with the process.
Each Saturday workshop offers a different creative experience—from paper and mixed media to expressive art, handmade projects, and unexpected creative adventures. Some projects are thoughtfully guided, with instruction and support along the way. Others are more intuitive and open-ended, giving you space to follow your own ideas and see where the materials take you.
Whether you consider yourself creative or haven't made anything since childhood, you’re welcome here. No experience is needed. You don’t need to be an artist, know the “right” way to do something, or have a perfectly formed idea before you begin. Just come curious and ready to make.
All materials are provided, and coffee and tea are waiting for you at the table.

WHAT MAKES THE MAKING TABLE DIFFERENT?
The Making Table is not about following a formula or having everyone create the same thing. Each gathering is designed around the particular project or creative experience, so the amount of instruction and guidance will vary.
For projects that benefit from learning a technique or working through a process, we’ll provide clear instruction, demonstrations, and support as you create. You’ll learn the skills you need while still having complete permission to interpret the project in your own way.
Other gatherings may be more intuitive and exploratory, with a loose invitation to play with materials, images, color, texture, and ideas. You’ll have the freedom to follow your curiosity and see what unfolds.
Either way, there’s no pressure to make it perfect, and no expectation that your finished piece needs to look like anyone else’s.

Some projects will offer instruction, guidance, and support. Others will be more intuitive and open-ended. Either way, you’ll have plenty of freedom to experiment, make choices, and put your own spin on things.
There is no right way to make your project. No two pieces need to look alike. Your version is allowed to be completely your own.
Messy is welcome. Curious is welcome. Beginners are welcome. You are welcome.
In a world that is constantly asking you to produce, perform, and perfect, there’s something wonderfully refreshing about sitting around a table with good people, beautiful materials, and the freedom to simply make.

Tiered Pricing FOR THE MAKING TABLE
A NOTE ABOUT PRICING
I believe creativity should be accessible, welcoming, and worth making time for. I also want The Making Table to be a sustainable offering that allows me to continue creating thoughtful, well-prepared experiences with beautiful and abundant materials.
Each workshop includes all of the supplies needed for the project, along with instruction, guidance, and creative support. Behind the scenes, there is also considerable preparation involved—from gathering and preparing materials to investing in the tools and supplies that make these experiences possible.
To support both accessibility and the sustainability of The Making Table, I offer three pricing levels.
Community Rate — $75
A more accessible option for those who need a little flexibility in their creative budget. Choosing this rate is absolutely okay—no explanation or questions asked.
Standard Rate — $85
The true value of the workshop, reflecting the materials, preparation, instruction, and time that go into creating the experience. If this rate feels comfortable for you, it helps make The Making Table sustainable.
Supporter Rate — $95
For those who have the ability and desire to contribute a little more. This rate helps offset the difference between the Community and Standard rates and supports the continued offering of accessible creative experiences.

A Playful Fabric Collage & Macramé Tote Workshop
CHOOSE WHAT DELIGHTS YOU. CARRY WHAT YOU LOVE.
Come spend a cozy, creative afternoon choosing colorful fabrics, playful prints, whimsical characters, and cheerful little details to create a tote that's completely your own.
Start with a cotton canvas tote and create your own collection of fusible fabric stamps—perhaps a curious cat, a happy flower, a mushroom, a gnome, a favorite animal, or simply a pattern that makes you smile.
Arrange and fuse your stamps into a playful fabric collage, then choose a coordinating cotton cord and learn to macramé your own handles for a truly personal finishing touch.
There are no rules about what belongs on your tote. Mix patterns, layer colors, follow your favorite things, or create something wonderfully unexpected. Choose what delights you!

COZY QUILT BLOCKS
Quilt Inspired Paper Felting Workshop
LITTLE PIECES. BEAUTIFUL CONNECTIONS.
Draw inspiration from simple, traditional quilt patterns and discover how they can be transformed through the Japanese art of Joomchi, a unique form of paper felting. Using nothing more than paper and water, you’ll explore how these humble materials can become soft, textured, and surprisingly fabric-like.
We’ll play with shapes, colors, and patterns, arranging individual paper pieces to create your own interpretation of a classic quilt block. Through the process of paper felting, these separate elements will bond together, creating a cohesive piece that feels a little like cloth and a lot like magic.
Come experiment, get your hands wet, and see what happens when simple materials and playful choices come together. You’ll leave with a one-of-a-kind felted paper quilt blocks, and perhaps a new appreciation for the possibilities of paper.

Little Golden Book Journal Workshop

In this hands-on workshop, you’ll transform a classic Little Golden Book into a one-of-a-kind wire-bound journal filled with personality and charm. We’ll reimagine these beloved books with a delightful mix of coordinating papers, pockets, envelopes, tags, and other fun surprises, creating a journal that is uniquely yours.

Cancellation & Attendance Policy for GRoUp, WORKSHOPS, and Breathwork Sessions
Life happens — and sometimes unexpected things get in the way. If you’re unable to attend a group, session, or workshop you’ve registered for, please text or call Kailey at (401) 329-6527. If you’re running late, a quick message is appreciated so we know you’re safe and on your way.
Because offerings at Silvercrest Healing Sanctuary are intimate, intentional spaces with limited capacity, each registration matters. Supplies, space, and session flow are planned based on your presence.
Cancellation Policy
At Silvercrest Healing Sanctuary, great care goes into preparing our sessions, groups, and creative offerings — from gathering supplies and reserving materials to holding sacred space for each participant who registers. In order to support both the sustainability of this work and fairness to all involved, the following cancellation policy is in place:
Workshops (e.g., The Making Table, STEEP) and Open Studio Sessions
All workshop and open studio registrations are final and non-refundable.
If you're unable to attend, you may gift your spot to a friend — simply email info@silvercrestsanctuary.com in advance with their full name and email address so we can welcome them.
Groups (e.g., Therapy Groups, Cosmic Smashbooking Groups)

14 Days or More in Advance: If you cancel at least 14 days before the group’s start date, you may request a full refund minus a $50 administrative fee or receive a full credit toward a future group offering.

Less Than 14 Days: No refunds or credits will be issued for cancellations made less than 14 days before the start of the group.
We deeply appreciate your understanding, as significant planning, preparation, and limited spots make last-minute cancellations difficult to accommodate.
Private Breathwork Sessions
These sessions require time, energetic preparation, and a space specifically held for you.
Cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance and/or no shows will be subject to a $75 late cancellation fee. This applies whether you booked a single session or are using a multi-session package.
If you are running late or need to reschedule, please text Kailey at (401) 329-6527 as soon as possible.
In Case of Weather or Emergency
If an event must be rescheduled due to inclement weather, illness, emergency, or unforeseen circumstances, you will be notified via text or email and offered a make-up date or alternative option.
Why This Policy Matters
As a small business, last-minute cancellations are difficult to absorb and affect the accessibility and sustainability of these offerings. Your understanding helps keep this work available and affordable for the community.
